the concern for health would be valid, but that's not what concerns most people. it's a crab bucket mentality. they see someone getting ahead and need to conjure a moral theatre where their own fearful inaction is disguised as virtue. but an individual sport like fitness isn't a drug tested competition where fairness is at stake. so any moral grandstanding comes off as hollow.
