I have nothing but bad luck in my life. I think it’s because I only have two birthmarks instead of three birthmarks.

Neither do I. My musmim Buddies won’t STFU about it but tbf in my culture in the Carib we have a term called “red eye” which means the exact same thing as evil eye oddly enough and that culture is Christian

Considering the whole world has a term or view on the concept of evil eye it makes me wonder if it’s a evolutionary response to danger from humans being wary of sabotage or if there is a metaphysical realm for it
