Why does it just say adjusted and unadjusted score shouldnt there be a race component in the graph?The study actually represents the data misleadingly because they insist the differences are a result of socioeconomic differences. But when they controlled for that, the differences only got very marginally smaller.

The adjusted graph is black people only. It’s showing the difference in size from the white children. There’s 3 regions greater, 11 regions smaller. Adjusting for socioeconomic status did not bring any region to 0, which would be the same as white brains.

this is just a map of the values of the brains which controlled for only 7 variables not hundreds, the scientist themselves found when they controlled for additional variables the sizes of the brains atleast in areas dedicated to intelligence there was "full mediation" as the authors put it.
