The selfish/lazy man and the shit in the living room (the reason why a lot of countries are shit holes)

So here is how the story goes ( I created it)

there was this selfish man that went by a rule if he didn't make a mess or a problem he won't fix it or clean it so if he sees his little brother made a mess he will leave it and so on one day he went in the middle of the house and saw someone took a shit there there was literally a shit in the middle of the damn house so what did the guy do he left it and everyone in the house did the same as they thought if he didn't clean it why should I" The shit was left there until a guest came and smelled the horrible smell and saw all the shit and the bugs and filth the guest screamed and left and the story spread like wildfire fire there family became known as the shit family their reputation went to the ground and what did the family do? The started blaming each other for the shit a no one cleaned it.

The point of the story is that most shit hole countries are countries filled with lazy and selfish people if they see trash on the street they won't clean it if they see something wrong they don't report it they don't like to contribute to society and when they see their country doing bad what do they do? They leave obviously and cause problems for other countries now will this change I hope so but most likely it won't. Did you get the point of the story?

true but even many developed countries are shitholes in this sense. where there are so many hidden problems but everyone just kinda sweeps them under the rug until they become too big to ignore, and what they come to be known for.

Yes that is why most developed countries are getting "worse" Rn but even now it isn't to the extent of developing countries you legit see people through trash next to the trashcan and no one does anything they are so lazy and selfish and it is even worse in African countries.
