I've seen spergs get along with girls, no matter how short, akward or broke you are, looks can carry you through any social interaction.

You could argue that status is a product of being NT and GL, but looking at status per se, it's a major oppurtunity to score above your league if high-status, and an equally major cause for inceldom if low-status.
