The story begins with the fact that I had braces at the age of 14. At that time, I was not yet interested in the size of the upper palate of the jaw, but just wanted to make even teeth. I took them off about a year ago, and now I'm 16 years and 9 months old.
A month ago, I started to get interested in the size of the upper palate, which is adequate for men, and measured my own.
The size of the upper palate from canine to canine was 35 millimeters. I'm wondering if it's worth going to the orthodontist again and dealing with this moment, as I've heard you'll have to push your teeth apart again. But I have a smooth bite.
What should I do?

Thanks. What I have to say to the orthodontist.
Say to him that you want to widen upper arch of the teeth, but that you are aware that the lower arch is the limiting factor. So then you ask is it possible in some way to make lower arch more wide by tilting the teeth up straight so I can widen my upper arch and still have a good occlusion.
I don't know, everyone tells me that my mouth is very small relative to my nose and face. Did I measure the distance correctly?
Yes I mean not to bad I don't know of it's worth fixing, MSE usually makes the alarm base wider also so that ration might not change width wider palate either way

So what exactly should I fix?

I mea maybe you should focus on the next thing, the next lookmsxxing thing you want to focus on. Maybe the palate is good enough for now
I'm just afraid that I only started thinking about Maxilla and the upper sky now when i already 16. I'm afraid that when I'm 17-19, I won't be able to radically change anything like I am now.

@lurking truecel I'm coming back to this topic as soon as possible. it turns out that the extreme age at which we have dilators installed on the upper palate (not MSE) It's 16 years old. I'm just 16. If I understand everything correctly, after the expansion of the upper palate, I may have braces again and my lower teeth will be tilted not inwards, but stand straight. (Attached a video, sorry for my accent)

I uploaded it to the video viewing platform because of the file size, I can't upload it here.
@lurking truecel
I mean inward tilted lower teeth is not that big of a problem, it depends if the expander expand skeletally also. Else I wouldn't say it's worth it because your bite seem good

I don't like that I have black slits when I smile and that the upper sky is narrow. I'd like to fix it, but keep the bite. Moreover, I have the last year when I can get dilators.

@lurking truecel is it really possible to do this without surgery, but purely orthodontics?

I don't really know what dilators is. But I mean of you want to get the buccal corridors gone than yeah, go for it..I think it should be possible to do purely oethodontically but I am not sure

I've made an appointment with another orthodontist, and I hope something works out.
