The skincare routine I used to get rid of my acne

Water and benzoyl peroxide gel

I used to have a very complicated skincare routine, with cleansers, moisturizers, serums, and so on, and I had horrible acne

All of my acne went away once I quit using all of this stuff, and started only using benzoyl peroxide

I only wash my face once a day with water now, never cleanse, never moisturize

Less is more when it comes to skincare and using a bunch of products that can disrupt your skin barrier while not providing much results is not worth it

And I see no point in cleansing away your natural oils, which act as a moisturizer, just to apply a chemical moisturizer

Agreed. Rn I’m using low dose isotretinoin and nothing else water hitting the face in the shower lmao

Cause of acne is clogged pores + excess sebum production

So if too much DHT (or excess sebum production in general) = Fin/Dut or isotretinoin
