The Soviet Union won the space race and made the biggest contributions and achievements in astronomy and space. The U.S contributed very little overall. This just goes to show that people are easily brainwashed by American propaganda.

Can you name the contributions that USA made? Probably after 1995-2000, I mentioned the Cold War which Soviet Union won

First successful mars landing, Hubble which discovered much of the universe, first spacecraft to explore all the outer solar system planets, GPS, discovery of dark matter, confirmation of big bang theory, the ISS, reusable boosters, most satellite maps, JWST. The usa was kinda the only country doing anything new in space until recently when china and europe started competing.
