not metaphorically, literally. he was diagnosed with an unknown genetic diseases when born and later when he was 5 years old, his parents died due to high radiation levels emitted from his body. government took him into a secret lab to study him and thats when one of the biggest disasters in human history happened. not only the entry military's underground base was eliminated, the entry woods nearby also was considered biohazard and many mutations happened in the living organisms around.
the radiation was so he high that he was considered dangerous to the planet itself and they had to reject his body into the deep space but first they need to kill him first. he was 12 years old when the underground incident happened and he has not been seen ever since but they know where exactly he is, it's just no can go anywhere around him to see him. every living thing in 10km radius around him drops dead instantly, you need expensive suits to visit him and chances are high you get cancer.
the episodes are called metamorphize, because his facial and bone structure changes. he can morph himself into things he wanted but his morphlings was bad and it would look ugly as fuck. like the first time when he was 5, he wanted to be a pony and it turn out to be a mutant ugly half human half horse, half whatever, you know ugly.
there is a myth that some scientist kept theorizing that he mastered the art of morphing and is now a gigachad in an island at the north pole where they keep him.
most scientist agree that he is frozen in ice and is most likely alive.
he almost speaks no language since he had not much contact with humans, only knows some simple words like im hungry, i'm thirsty, i'm happy etc.
government has opened to gates to the mountains where they kept him and allows scientists to visit at the risk of their own life to collect data and information about the situation. it has been considered suicide to pay a visit to this boy throughout the culture and slangs and no one has ever returned from those mountains to tell us what happened to the boy and the others who came to visit him.
