You dont know how interested the person actually is. You don't know if they are talking to other people. You're worried about saying or doing the wrong thing and totally turning them off.
What sucks the most is women can have all sorts of fucking problems in their life like alcoholism, self harm issues, anti depressants etc but if you show the wrong side of your personality or say the wrong thing you can watch in real time when the girl starts putting 'walls' back up that were previously taken down for you.
They go from letting you know about their life to 'hello goodbye' professionalism in an instant as if nothing ever happened.
You also don't want to be too vulnerable with the girl too soon but that can cause the opposite problem where she thinks you're just wanting to pump and dump her or you'rea narcissist but in actuality you don't want to say the wrong thing because you know what happens when you do.
Whats the point of dating if you can't just be authentic with a girl? They have all these fucking expectations on how you're supposed to be but plenty of guys will take a chick for how she is warts and all with all these personality issues or lifestyle problems.
It's especially bad when you're physically attractive because then they have all these expectations on what you are like as a man and if you don't meet the positive ones or show signs of the negative they will write you off.
