These things have been happening for years in Asia, now they are slowly reaching the West, but in our form of BP, where you tell someone directly that they have a chin / jaw / eye area / nose bad etc.

In Asia it is normal to tell someone that they are fat / that they have some facial problem / to tell them directly that they are ugly, and it is considered that you are saying it for the good of that person so that they can fix that thing

In Asia it is also known that people do not get jobs if in the picture on their CV they look ugly, because the colleagues / boss at that workplace do not want ugly people as co-workers

It also created Asia into an extremely individualistic country where the short and ugly cope by buying/renting expensive clothes to look like they have status if they don't have the genetics

It is, at the end of the day, part of the evolution of humanity, basically a natural purge of those with bad genes, who will be isolated, ignored in the dating market, and only those with the best genes reproduce, basically increasing the quality of life of all the people who are to be born in the next generations..
