The idea that you just loose consciousness is scary to me, an eternal nothingness seems very eerie and horrible, even if you aren’t conscious to experience it.

And even if there is an afterlife, surely spending eternity somewhere would become insufferable, it would be like torture.

But anyway, I just thought I’d get it off my chest since it’s been bugging me recently

I guess death in itself isn’t that scary, it’s just the scary thinking about what happens to you afterwards

Make the most of what you have then you won't think of your inevitable fate

I try to, but whenever I think about my dead relatives or whatever this thought just follows and it’s hard to shake you know

I think it's way weirder that whatever happens after is infinitely longer than life itself so what's the point then

well find something that makes living worth while, so when u are old and dying u have something to look back too to not regret ur life fearmongering death.

I’m not sure weather or not religion is a cope, I mean obviously it comforting knowing death isn’t the end but since there is a scientific answer for everything then religion wouldn’t really make sense

Not of death itself to me, but of an unfinished end. Death seems quite natural and desirable, but when the life that precedes it has neither the meaning nor the proper sequence of events that would make death a logical end in the timeline and the conclusion to one's life, then it becomes terrifying.
I have this constant feeling of running out time for doing God knows what.
