The thought of death terrifies me

The thought of bieng unconscious for the rest of eternity is terrifying. Even though I won’t be aware, just thinking about it almost sends me into a panic attack. I nearly broke down in school the other day because I randomly started thinking about death and what happens after. And even if heaven or an afterlife does exist, I think that spending eternity there would become insufferable, almost torture. At night I stay up for hours just thinking of this and it’s horrible.
