*during a kids boy vs girls soccer scrimmage* (like 13 years old)
While approaching the ball, I lifted up my right and left foot to jump at it, and this girl ran full force into me brutally knocking my ass over.
I wasn't too prepared to ponder the situation at hand because my reputation on the team was that of one of the best players, but while we were on the ground, she came up to me offering her hand apologizing softly multiple times.
While I don't believe I took her hand (lord forgive me, I was young and childish), I wish I did.
I had thought previously that she was "cute", but now I had a massive crush. She was a blonde with blue eyes with great masculine and feminine harmony. No girl at this age I'd ever met had shown the maturity and kindness that she had.
I only saw her at soccer a few times after this, and was much too afraid to do anything.
A few years later, I saw her in the distance of my local supermarket, both of us walking opposite directions...farther and farther away
