It's literally just a carbohydrate it's energy. you need energy. when you eat starches you get exactly the same thing but harder to digest

there is a lot of things there you cant bunch it all together and call it sugar, I'm willing to bet even when you say you ate "sugary things" you ate more starch than sugars
just eating sugars makes you leaner, starches makes you gain weight

I used to eat a lot of junk food, let’s say 70%+ was high sugar bs, and the other just savoury bs like crisps

I would get 100g of chocolate, a sugary drink and crisps everyday. this would just be average and often i’d eat more

at home i would eat healthy so it wasn’t that
