Because depending on your face it’s not the end all be all haircut. You should choose your hair style based on your features and not trends, I did this and it looked shit but I fell for the “looking clean” meme.

Not a trend but up until about 2014 in uk people weren’t getting fades, they were just getting the number 1 up to the parting line. Then blending in the back and sides to top become more popular. It was always a trend in America beacause of south Americans and black people. Not the same in the UK.

Never. My hair length is, and has always been, in between my ears and chin. I did get it cut shorter in August, but even then my hair was just up to my ears.
