This is my first informative thread and intented to be serious. I will attempt to refrain from using buzzwords. This will make it boring for all of your fried attention spans so for the ones who want to actually learn, welcome :feelsgah:

Everyone here knows that the IGF-1 pathway is one of the most important pathways for height, if not the most important. Tons of people on this forum have complicated heightstacks adressing a ton of the potential problems such cycles could give but even more users basically just run HGH and expect to grow. The latter route can work but leaves multipul fascets up to chance, not least the actual conversion to IGF-1. This is where some users claim Tresiba could come into play.
What is Tresiba
Tresiba is a perscription(sigh) based insulin analogue. Just like most forms of insulin, it is meant to keep people with diabetes type I and II healthy. However, unlike most forms of insulin, it lasts for a really long time in your body. This is also why roidcells tend to go for more short acting forms of insulin as it is way more effective for muscle gain this way. The flat release of Tresiba will not aid muscle gain nearly as much as your traditional 'slin' would.

The supposed mechanism behind Tresiba for height
Portal insulin (straight from the pancreas to the liver) is a necessairy component for IGF-1 production. Insulin is incredibly important for the conversion to IGF-1 in the liver by maintaining and creating all of the GH receptorsin there. The more complicated yet more common way is saying that insulin is the primary gatekeeper to hepathic GH regulation. This means that larger amounts of insulin in circulation would increase the amount of GH receptors and the sensitivity of them. The logical conlusion is that taking tresiba would give you more IGF-1 for the amount of HGH you take. Kind of what L-carnatine does with your androgen receptors. Since normal insulin does not last more than a few hours and you want your receptors hypersensitive in the night, injecting tresiba subq is the way. This is somewhat simpified but certaintly not a ton.

The logical problems
Although the pathway I just described is credible, some logical leaps have to made. The most important problem is that more more insulin in your blood is not proven to significantly increase portal insulin.
E.G.: insulin ≠ insulin to the liver.
There are also no scientifically founded cases of tresiba increasing height, so the mechanistic speculation is all we have. This will turn off a lot of heightmaxers but not enough evidence has never turned off everyone. More than enough of us are fully content with being a guinea pig. You would be supprised how many retards take osstivia with no evidence and just a weak mechanism.

The risks (if you made it this far, well done. Most people cannot focus this long)
The potential sides here are identical to insulin for obvious reasons. The main one which a lot of you have probably already heard of is hypoglycemia which is low blood sugar. This causes some pretty significant sides such as dizzyness, hunger, confusion and in severe cases seizures. If you use the normal ancilleries which are better described in other threads, most notably the BOTB thread on HGH (link), this will not be an issue. I will not go into myself, because it is complicated and more importantly, better explained elsewhere.
Another side is weight gain. This is actually a side of normal slin I don't see mentioned ever. Insulin reduces the amount of glucose in your urine. More lost glucose means your body burns less calories (simplification, don't quote me) and thus reduces metabolism. If you take anything to lose weight such as a GLP-1, this would not be problem.

Conclusion
Insulin and HGH have always gone hand in hand. HGH reduces insulin sensitivity so taking insulin solves this and helps build tons of muscle. Roidheads love it. If your goal is heightmaxing, tresiba is a valid alternative and most likely superior to normal slin. If you can find access to it and I know a lot of you are weirdly good at finding sources despite failing school, it is a great way to get more value out of your expensive HGH. Also if you do bloods and find out your IGF-1 is strangly low even though you take decently high amounts of HGH, tresiba could solve this.

Post scriptum
As I said, this is my very first high effort thread. I enjoyed making this way more than asking questions or making really low efforts posts just to get the number up. If this thread does pretty well, I will make more. If you want more informative threads on this forum instead of another 5000 retarded posts on bonesmashing and erda, repping posts like these would help.
