- Introduction
- In this thread i wanna talk about vitamin d, it's benefits etc. Vitamin d is one of the most important vitamins in our body and it's very important for t and gh in the teenage years.
- What is vitamin d
- Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin essential for strong bones, immune function, and muscle health.
Key Functions Calcium Absorption - Helps bone and tooth development, Immune Support - Enhances defense against infections, Muscle Tone - Maintains optimal physical strength. - How is it linked to t and gh
T - Vitamin D functions similarly to a steroid hormone in the body. Research indicates that correcting a vitamin D deficiency can help boost total t levels naturally. Low vitamin D is frequently linked to reduced T production. - GH - Vitamin D and the HGH axis must operate together to support healthy skeletal and muscle growth. Medical data suggests that individuals undergoing growth hormone therapies see enhanced tissue and bone development when their vitamin D levels are fully optimized.
- How to get it naturally
- To get vitamin D naturally, expose your face, arms, and legs to direct sunlight around midday when UVB rays are strongest. Light-skinned individuals need only 10 to 15 minutes of daily exposure, while darker skin types require more time. You must be outdoors because glass blocks the specific UVB rays needed for your body to synthesize the vitamin.
- Most optimal way to take it as a supplement
- Vitamin D3 is significantly more effective than D2 because it raises and maintains blood levels much faster and longer; for optimal absorption, it must be taken with healthy fats, vitamin K2 to direct calcium safely into bones instead of arteries, and magnesium, which activates the vitamin into its usable form.
- My own experience
- When i was around 13 in an entire year I only grew around 2cm the whole year I was getting repeatedly bullied at school so after going to a doctor they tested my blood and found that I have extremely low vitamin d. I started taking it along with k2 and magnesium (mind you i was 13 here) and after the year ended in my next doctors appointment they said i grew 8cm.
