One thing I never understood about African Americans is the constant need to pick and comb their hair

It doesn’t make sense to constantly put products into your hair and condition it and comb it out, this isn’t a natural occurrence in 4c hair

4C hair was to protect from the extreme hot African sun so it doesn’t make sense to use a comb, also notice how you have to be consistent with it too
