The truth is every mediocerly attractive person has a 'friend' like this to boost their attractivenes and their own sense of worth. It is also because, since they are only moderatly attractive, they need a boost to get real attention and for people to really notice them.
The guy in this video is parading this 5 foot 4 gymcel with him. And it isnt to workout with his buddy, its to artificially boost his percieved attractiveness and smv compared to his 'friend', because he correctly thinks if someone sees a 5 4 manlet, and next to the manlet a 6 2 mtn, they will see the difference in looks, and believe that the mtn looks better than they actually do.

The truth about all of this is everyone manipulates and uses people, conciously, or subconciously. Everyone wants to be noticed, everyone is insecure in their own way. Humanity, or atleast most of it only cares about themselves and how they feel.

I agree. Scientists/Researchers have actually tested this experiment on people: They showed participant a picture of a person and told them to rate that person in attractiveness. Then, the scientists place the picture of the person next to pictures of uglier people, and the participant is told to rate said person again, and the majority of the time, when the picture of a person was surrounded by uglier people, they got rated higher
