One of the few things I've learnt from the mats was that the truth isn't the best sometimes. Now that really runs counter to the maxim we've been all raised on "the truth will set you free" and by being fed lies we do ourselves a disservice.
I will give an analogy. In BJJ we are told not to measure progress by how many people you beat or how many subs you get. But by how you were compared to last lesson, but the blackpill is, even if you were better than yesterday, you're still shit. None of that matters if you can't compete with others, it's player vs player and someone out there is working harder than you, is more naturally talented and probably lives and breathes the fucking sport. So we tell ourselves those little lies in order to create some hope. If we were to think about what others were doing, we'd go nuts and probably quit and stop making progress all together.
Now the same applies with this blackpill bullshit. You keep reading about how chads have their pick of women, how these men are exceptional and have experiences many of us will never experience, while this maybe inspiring to some, this is depressing to many others. This information is bad/useless information and does nothing in your journey to improve and even if it is the truth, you need to discard it. The dating market is player vs player, and it is competitve but you cannot just quit because these guys are doing better. You need to keep improving and keep getting better, live in a world of lies if needed, as long as you create this supportive narrative in your head that things are going your away, you aren't unlucky and that shit will always work out for you, you'll be more motivated to improve. Improving isn't about being the best, not everyone can be the best, but you can be better.
Filter out info which holds you back, even if it's the truth. The only info you need is good info which is relevant and further your cause.
