The UK free braces stuff is very predatory

They give braces to people who can't obviously afford them and then they cut off support after treatment is done.

But things like retainers and stuff still cost a considerable amount of money.

Like I broke my retainers and had to pay £200 for new ones which is kind of crazy and I doubt it's very affordable for people on low income.

And if you had teeth extracted or whatever, you'll end up looking retarded.

i almost got them

had retainers as a kid to push my bite a few mm forward but i was a retard and never wore them so they basically kicked me off the program

flash forward to today i still have a crossbite and crooked teeth and now i’ll need to save up to get invisalign for myself

mine lasted a years, some people's will last less

this whole post is about low income households; some people can't afford the $270 every 6-12 months
