The UK government just scrapped the 2 child benefit cap.
What is the 2 child benefit cap? In 2017, the UK government introduced a 2 child benefit cap. It means bottom tier single mothers can only be funded for 2 children. The funding amount is about £300/child each month. So before, they could only get paid a maximum of £600 in child benefits for a maximum of two kids.
