Massive credits to:
. I’ll walk you through everything step by step and explain it all as we go.
What does GRS stand for, and What is it Used for?
GRS stands for Global Rating System. It is a hierarchical facial attractiveness rating system designed to classify individuals based solely on their facial appearance according to widely recognized beauty standards. The GRS was created as a simpler and more intuitive alternative to systems such as PSL. Rather than using a traditional 1–10 scale, GRS uses a scale from 2 to 9. This structure reflects the idea that true perfection and/or imperfection is unattainable, making the highest or lowest ratings extraordinarily rare. The system aims to provide the most objective assessment possible by evaluating factors such as Facial Harmony, Balance, Symmetry, Sexual Dimorphism, Unique qualities, and averageness.
How does it correspond to our general population/what is the rarity of each rating:
Right now I want you to imagine a bell curve. But since y'all are dum I'll just give you one
(Search up "Bell Curve" for a more accurate representation)
Great! That's the graph that we will being jotting all of our mental numbers on.
GR 2 (1 in 20) is equivalent to the bottom 5% (approximately 400 million people) or sub-3
GR 3 (1 in 4) is equivalent to the bottom 25% (approximately 2 billion people) or sub-4
GR 4 (1 in 2) is equivalent to 50% (50th percentile) or ltn/sub-5
GR 5 (1 in 5) is equivalent to the top 20% (approximately 1.6 billion people) or mtn
GR 6 (1 in 250) is equivalent to the top .4% (approximately 32 million people) or htn
GR 7 (1 in 2,500) is equivalent to the top 0.04% (approximately 3.2 million people) or chadlite
GR 8 (1 in 1,000,000) is equivalent to to the top 0.0001% (approximately 8,000 people) or chad
GR 9 (1-3 in 8,000,000,000) is equivalent to to the top 0.0000000125% (approximately 1-3 people/person) or adam
These percentile estimates represent the closest practical approximation of facial attractiveness distribution across the global population. Holy big words
2 GR Selections:
Joseph Merrick
Michael Berryman
Vincent Schiavelli
Individuals in this category possess extremely uncommon facial characteristics that place them well below conventional beauty standards. (kinda stole this one from the "Complete Guide to PSL Ratings")
3 GR selections:
Michael Cera
David Schwimmer
Adam Scott
Faces in this category typically fall around the lower quarter of the population distribution. Common traits may include weaker facial harmony, less balanced proportions, limited sexual dimorphism, or features that are perceived as unconventional relative to mainstream beauty standards
4 GR selections:
Jason Segel
Seth Rogen
Paul Dano
Individuals in this category generally possess balanced and functional facial features without significant strengths or weaknesses. While they may exhibit some attractive traits, they typically lack the overall harmony, exceptional proportions, or standout features necessary to place them in higher tiers.
5 GR selections:
Dylan O'Brien
Tom Holland
Logan Lerman
Represents individuals who are noticeably above average in facial attractiveness. Faces within this category typically exhibit good facial harmony, balanced proportions, and a healthy degree of sexual dimorphism. While they may possess several attractive features, they generally lack the exceptional combination of traits required to reach the highest tiers.
6 GR selections:
Clavicular (Braden Peters)
Alex Landi
Keith Powers
Cristiano Ronaldo
Individuals who are clearly above average in facial attractiveness and are generally perceived as attractive across most social groups. Faces in this tier typically demonstrate strong overall harmony, balanced proportions, and a noticeable level of facial refinement, but may still lack the extreme symmetry, striking features, or model-level presence required for higher tiers
7 GR selections:
Johnny Depp
Colton Haynes
broderick hunter
Individuals in the elite range of facial attractiveness. Individuals in this tier typically exhibit exceptional facial harmony, highly balanced proportions, and strong symmetry, combined with a pronounced and immediately noticeable aesthetic impact.
8 GR selections:
Tom Cruise
Henry Cavill
Zayn Malik
the extreme upper boundary of human facial attractiveness within the GRS framework. Individuals in this tier exhibit an exceptional and rare combination of facial harmony, symmetry, proportional balance, and sexual dimorphism, along with highly refined structural features that create a strong overall aesthetic impact.
9 GR (The Perfect Human):
[No Photo]
The theoretical upper boundary of facial attractiveness within the GRS framework. It is intended to describe an extremely rare combination of facial traits that approach near-ideal proportions across all measurable dimensions, including symmetry, harmony, structural balance, and sexual dimorphism. Also known as me.
Anyways leave me recommendations or things I should change for the second version (I will release in the upcoming future). I spent 2 hours on this soooo i'd appreciate some rep. And for all you greycels ur welcome for this.
"Complete Guide to PSL ratings"
Anyways, a few quick things I wanted to say. I hate seeing people rate things wrong or not really understanding how it works. It’s also kinda hard for beginners to find an accurate system, so I’m just gonna hook y’all up
