penn foster is accredited most colleges treat it the same as a public school diploma only ivy leagues really care and your not applying to harvard

It is interesting also that college/university is losing its legitimacy and image. In the future I can definitely see a shorter, online high school, with work programs available as companies now have more draw than universities for skilled intelligent people. the thing with private school is it gives u a HUGE boost for college applications. also there's class ranking and GPA, which is an even bigger boost that cannot be achieved with online schooling. GPA accounts for over 25% of your college application.

school was never for learning btw. it's extremely inefficient for learning. it's simply a part of the system that you have to participate in if your goal is to beat the system. college officers clearly are not impressed by such a lame way to avoid school, which is why they heavily punish online schoolers
