I like this episode, that was one of the most spectacular actions of the second war.

Arriving at the hotel, Skorzeny ran quickly to Mussolini's room, and upon entering announced: "Duce, Fuher sent me here to rescue you" to which Mussolini replied: "I knew my friend would not abandon me"
A few days after meeting Hitler and being warmly received, he returned to Italy, where he would found on September 18 in the north, The Social Republic of Italy, and fought with germany till the end.
Skorzeny in 1943 was known by the Allies as the most dangerous man in Europe.
