Your take above is just naive and kinda childish, this is the real root of the problem, all sports are the same, the name is kind of irrelevant. The US is definitely not known for its football or "the moon landing", it's moreso known for "The American Dream", diversity, its role in the world wars and being THE global superpower of the 20th century.

I don't care about sports myself but they're not the same and my point isn't whether they're similar or not. My point is that they saw football being one of the most popular sports all around the world and 6 years later they created another sport with the same name knowing it would anger others and they'd all say "Americans think they're the main characters" which leads to more Normies taking about America.

And I never specifically mentioned them naming 2 different sports the same name rather than their role in the previous world wars because it's not talked about as much. I talked more about the social aspect that made them the center of the world rather than their role in wars because it's more interesting.
