I’ll keep it brief
1. Displays of competitive pity function mainly as status signals that unconsciously elevate the already powerful.
2. Such signaling crowds out genuine aid and encourages lasting dependency among the disadvantaged.
3. Therefore, the pity Olympics exist solely to stroke the egos of the powerful, while actively harming the weak and unfortunate.
The slave Olympics are just a mechanism to soothe those fortunate enough to derive gratification from downward comparison. It was never actually intended to serve the homeless, disabled, genetic deadends, poor. The victims. Our natural biology overrides the promised goal of slave morality. The dangerous part is that this is also the only part that is invisible to the naked eye. So ironically this shame and pity based system our societies run on is more of a masturbation for those at the top than what it promises.
It’s no wonder you would want to be a victim living in this system. Modern humans won’t admit this but many of us do have this unconscious desire to be weak because it was planted in us by this system. While the powerful retain the position they were born into. It’s almost like a culture running on pity and shame is darwinistic, meant to retain a natural order. It’s the darkest shadow possible of the Christian morality we strayed from. Idk if this makes sense I’m trying to tell you what I’m thinking but I’m so used to writing low iq slop it’s difficult to translate exactly what I mean.
