Since my appearance improved I've noticed that people treat me differently. Not necessarily better just differently.
Yesterday I was helping move some equipment for a theatre performance. I got to meet some of the cast and ended up on stage practicing along with them. At one point the lights went out and a girl grabbed my butt and then started laughing about it.
To be honest I didn't like it at all. It was one of the most awkward experiences I've ever had.
What really bothered me was what happened afterward. I told one of the supervisors a girl and someone I consider a friend what had happened and she immediately laughed. That made me think what if the roles had been reversed? If I had done that to a girl I doubt people would have found it funny and I'd probably have been kicked out of the theatre.
Part of the reason I got into looksmaxing was to become more attractive and confident. What I didn't expect was that getting more attention would sometimes mean attracting behavior I don't actually want. Being noticed isn't always a positive experience.
Has anyone else experienced something similar after improving their appearance? I'd be interested to hear your stories and how you dealt with it.
