The west and their "civilizing" mission

Centuries ago, they wanted to "civilize" and "Christianize" the "primitive" nations, they didn't do it without slaughtering the native population.

Decades ago and today, they wanted and want to "democratize", "liberalize" and promote "human rights" in "third world" countries, and there are plenty of evidences that their intervention resulted in a bloodbath. These buzzwords sound less intimidating and many of your young idealists fell under the spell.

If they truly respect you and your people, they will leave you guys alone. I'm not saying that I'm against these values but every country have a right to decide its own internal affair without foreign intervention.

West just wants more subservient nations, more power, more resources and more money.
The people who craft and push these ideologies couldn't care less about anything else.
