The Swan was a TV show 2004-2005. They took ugly women and gave them makeovers, surgeries, dental work, diet and exercise. At the end of the show all 16 women competed in some sort of pageant to see who made the most improvement. The winner was a woman named Lorrie Arias. She is only 34 in the before photo even though she looks 50, she had lost like 130 lbs in the previous year in order to qualify for the show. Here are the before and afters I was able to find:
