If you don’t know there is a television series primarily on Netflix called “The Witcher”. It’s based off a video game/books.

Henry Cavil plays the role of the Witcher in the series and recently left after season 3 due the directors and writers not following the original storyline.

The directors recast Cavil with Liam Hemsworth and have recently released the new season, Season 4

Needless to say the fans were mostly disappointed in hemsworth (for some reason ).

Many are saying it’s because Liam lacks the prescence and confidence of Cavil. JFL

Yeah that’s probably it. Many who’ve read the books/played the video game say Geralt is supposed to be a more serious character though so I’m not 100% sure

I disagree with that Cavill is imo a better actor. He has range and better dialogue delivery than Liam. Liam is more of a typecast actor. You bring him when you want a jacked tall wasp dude and he is done. Cavill can do much more

I can see both POVs tbh. Cavil is known for his aura farming roles obviously. But I think Geralt is an aura farmer as a character so that’s why he was good.

Recast is brutal, but even the original actors werent great

The worst casting of all time, she was gorgeous in the game and they casted some ugly goblin for her.

With the correct makeup and enough eyeliner I'm sure they could transform her into ciri (ofc with grey hair)

Yeah looks much better tbh. The actor they casted has quite a small skull in comparison to the game.
