The more systemised/technological our civilisation becomes the higher the selection pressures for autism will be (this thread will explain why this is a good thing)
N*urotypical people cope with the fact they're the majority and therefore have the most social capital/dictate social norms so instinctively define anything deviating from their neurotype as 'dysfunctional' and/or pathological but considering the aforementioned statement above the nt brain just isn't selected for such an ecological niche, it will eventually be rendered useless and evolutionary irrelevant.
Most forms of 'low/carnal/barbaric' culture can be traced to the unconscious/id/limbic system and vice versa, higher forms the conscious/ego/neocortex - what autism is, essentially a retardation of the unconscious/limbic system in favour of an over developed neocortex -> And this would manifest in the domestication of our species, the populous will become smarter, more understanding, higher inhib, politer, harder working, less mathematically impaired etc
If spergy engineers weren't so k/selected and spammed offspring instead of having 1/2 per a lifetime then we'd likely be an inter-planetary civilisation by now
