To give you some context: I’ve basically never had friends. I made a few right after finishing my last year of school, but we don't talk anymore, so I’m on my own again. The only real friend I’ve ever had is my cousin—we’ve been friends since we were little, and I value his company and our friendship. But one thing I hate is when I bring up looks and he hits me with that bullshit: "Nah bro, looks don't matter; personality and presence matter more." He basically calls me a faggot for caring about that stuff. But guess what? Out of nowhere, he tells me, "Hey, I'm getting an orthodontic procedure done." I asked which one, and he said he was getting a massive, fucking *orthognathic* surgery. And even though he’s 18, his mom is paying for absolutely *everything*—the bastard has money, or at least my aunt does; they’re loaded. He just had his final X-rays taken, and the process starts early next year. It feels like the absolute worst, most unfair piece-of-shit thing that could ever happen to me. That very same scumbag who claims appearance doesn't matter will eventually say that people like him now because of his "personality"—that more girls approach him, he has better job opportunities, and he gets treated better. There was a day I was on the verge of jumping off a bridge, but I decided to issue an ultimatum instead. Maybe I’m trash for wishing this upon my friend—who is, after all, family—but I hope he ends up looking just like an average Joe, despite everything. Right now, I’m putting my heart and soul into changing my appearance so that the bastard gets a taste of that reality—it’s that simple. And if he ends up looking way above the standard of beauty, here is what I’ll do:
1. Take out a bank loan big enough to pay for several plastic surgeries and finally stop being *me*, even if my ass ends up belonging to the bank.
2. Cut all ties with my father's side of the family, especially my cousin (my friend).
3. Work every day to pay off that loan while finishing university and landing a job; pay off the debt completely so I can keep improving myself.
4. If I genuinely never find a good woman or the love of my life, I’ll simply marry some old hag with loads of money and keep her fortune. 5. Work part-time as a model while spending most of my time pursuing my passion (drawing). This is a completely serious plan that I will carry out if this situation gets any worse. While I wait patiently, I’ll keep working on my look and putting in the effort, but I’m saying it right here, right now:
I WILL NOT DIE LOOKING HIDEOUS.
