Yeah I followed that advice and every time I got a “no” I needed months to recover from that and felt like absolute dogshit.

My advice is if you haven’t given up on trying to find a girl like I have, then try to play it as cool as possible to avoid getting burned, but put yourself in a position where there is a high probability of success — be active and go out to gathering, parties, exhibitions etc. and have a large social circle because that helps too.

Don’t cold approach unless you have thick skin.

Sure but after it happens time and time again it makes you feel like shit. Your brain picks it up automatically, if it doesn't affect you at all then it's more like you're non-self aware and not a high T chad...
You shouldn't give up after single rejection of course and need to realise even chads get rejected, but lets not pretend that it affecting you is something weird or out of ordinary, it's a natural way of things that your brain picks up on repeating patterns and makes you base your future decisions on this experience. When experience is bad, it makes you not want to repeat it and it fucks with you
