There are many theologians with different beliefs but there could only be one correct religion (if there is one)

Let's assume for the sake of argument Islam is the correct religion. Then all the Christians, Buddhists, etc. have essentially just been gaslit into believing the wrong religion?

Imagine being a theologian who literally studies that shit for a living and still choosing the wrong religion. Even if you find any inconsistencies or fallacies, for example, within the Bible or the Quran, those theologians who have been studying these respective books for years have mastered the art of coping and they will always deflect your argument with some total asspull. Each one of them will still blindly believe in their religion, despite the fact that only one religion could be true and the rest are just cope

Your mistake is assuming Islam. Islam is false. If you believe in Islam I can prove it to you but I don't think you do. A good scholar will assess the evidence and if they find something wrong they will still be a scholar but now they can argue on the other side. Paul discusses this in 1 corinthians 15.

But theres over a billion people who believe in Islam, which is the issue I'm talking about. Each person preaches a different religion, I do not have the time, nor the will, nor the wit to read the entire Bible and study it extensively, then do the same with Quran, then do the same with every other holy book

Christianity has a monopoly on the supernatural(visions, heaven and hell visitations, miracles, demonic possession) and veridical evidence for it.islam just says oh my god my shaikh saw a jinn!

You should. I decided as an athiest that I would read and study islam, christianity, buddhism, and a couple others I didnt get very far into. It is the issue of utmost importance, tell me one thing your time could better be spent doing than finding the eternal creator and receiving His gifts? I find Christianity the strongest case and I am convinced by the evidence, and while my mind is open to change as I said with 1 cor 15, I am very confident in my decision because I made it for a reason. But this isnt a very good argument for why someone shouldn't bother if thats how they choose to spend their time from you.
