All three movements work together to:
  • Correct midface and lower-face vertical overgrowth
  • Reverse the result of poor breathing habits and posture (clear health indicator)
  • Fix poor rotation of mandible and maxilla

I will eventually make a diagram / simulation for this concept because I am heavily considering it.

Impaction only really helps if you have actual maxillary excess (gummy smiles). Most “vertical faces” are really midface deficiency, so rotating/impacting won’t fix the flatness. something like trimax and implants just works better because it builds the midface first, then you rotate, and add ramus height. Way better result. Also good luck on finding a surgeon that performs VRO and when your face is vertically grown the chances of your condyles resorbing is already high from a ccw bsso so a VRO will just fuck them up even more

Holy fuck jfl, I have exact same lower third as that impaction guy... Even lips, I'm super downgrown like him. My lower lip goes in front of my upper lip.

Good ass result. Even more bullish for surgery. Tbh I've noticed and this is true that bimax barely changes front but it does by a lot if you add either anterior downgraft or anterior impaction.

Hold Up What GIF

and yeah I didn't mention him/her at all, I said "impaction guy"

Found 1 more pic to compare
SO BRUTAL

This exact type of recession is a bit hard to find when u look at bimax results. I guess most people don't really need anterior impaction but when someone does it seems to ascend hard like that guy.
Best bimax results come from either impaction or downgraft, especially because front changes.
