But i dont know how to do it yet.
There is a lot of studies wich proves that social status changes testosterone, even in mices.Like if you win a fight your test increases and if you lose it decreases,in mices its theorized that that increase in testosterone serves to maintain agression to keep the gained social status and to increase muscle mass for the same reason. In humans, fights hasnt been too studied because it would be anti-ethical to provoke a fight for science,so the studies are from martial arts tournaments. What has been extensively studied are other types of tournaments, like chess games, soccer, etc, from these studies we know the highest rising in testosterone in science. Also is studied that beign married or having kids decreases testosterone, scientifics think is a mechanism to boost social interactions by beign less agressive.

Straight to the point: What these social status things wich changes testosterone have in common? That all of them cant be known by the body by chemical mechanism. For example: when you exercise and break mucle fibers certain chemicals in the muscle activates and when they reach the brain it stimulates it to increase testosterone* ,well i know falling in love increases oxytocin so the brain has a way to know if you may be married and reduce your testosterone, but how do your brain know when to release oxytocin?:when it sees a possible partneror your actual partner. My point is: your social status plays a crucial role in your testosterone, and the only way your brain can know your social status is by all your senses,is not something accurate like if it was a inner mechanism. For example: In a chess tournament has been stuided that the winners increased their testosterone after winning, but the only way the brain can know if you won is by your sight and memories that gives context to the chess game,I mean the context of the game and only seeing a chess piece wich declares your winning stimulates your brain to produce more testosterone. So if we were able to decipher how the brain process the social status and how it converts to a signal to increase testosterone it would be amazing, but it seems impossible.

Basically the ways the brain knows our social status are limited by our senses,as there is no internal chemical mechanism wich communicate the brain our status than our senses maybe if we act as high status or do things that we view as high status our testosterone will increase dramatically.

depression/anxiety lowers testosterone so the state of your mind does play a part in your hormones

Fascinating ngl. Think about this a lot

The idea that visualizing high testosterone levels can lead to actual increases in this vital hormone is rooted in the fascinating interplay between mind and body. Here’s why this seemingly simple mental exercise can yield significant physiological benefits:

**1. Mind-Body Connection**

The mind-body connection is a well-established concept in both traditional and modern medicine. At its core, it posits that the state of the mind can influence physical health and vice versa. This connection is particularly relevant when it comes to hormone regulation, including testosterone production.

The brain plays a central role in regulating the body’s endocrine system through various feedback mechanisms. When you vividly imagine having high testosterone levels, you engage your brain in a powerful way. This process starts in the hypothalamus, a region of the brain responsible for maintaining the body’s internal balance, or homeostasis. The hypothalamus monitors and regulates hormone levels in the blood, including testosterone.

During intense visualization, the brain activates neural pathways associated with the imagined scenario. For instance, if you imagine yourself performing activities that require strength, confidence, and vitality—traits associated with high testosterone—the brain responds as if these activities are happening in reality. This response is a result of neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections based on experience and thought.

Neuroplasticity allows the brain to adapt and respond to mental stimuli. When you repeatedly visualize high testosterone scenarios, your brain begins to treat this mental imagery as a significant and real event. Consequently, the hypothalamus may adjust its signals to the pituitary gland, the master gland that controls other endocrine glands, including the testes.

The pituitary gland, in response to cues from the hypothalamus, releases luteinizing hormone (LH). LH travels through the bloodstream to the testes, stimulating the Leydig cells to produce testosterone. This cascade of events illustrates how a mental exercise—visualizing high testosterone—can lead to tangible physiological outcomes.

Moreover, this mind-body interaction is not a one-time event but rather a process that can be strengthened with practice. Just as athletes use visualization to improve performance, consistently visualizing high testosterone levels can enhance the brain’s influence over hormonal regulation. Over time, this practice can lead to more sustained increases in testosterone levels.

In essence, the mind-body connection leverages the brain’s regulatory role over the endocrine system. By engaging in vivid and intentional visualization, you can influence this system to optimize testosterone production, showcasing the profound impact of mental practices on physical health.
