Therapy is fucking useless

Fucking useless my school dragged me into therapy I was a little reluctant but thought hey there was no harm right? It's just talking over a video call. But it turns out what happens every single time is I just tell her what happened in my day, and I tell her things that make me feel annoyed or bad, and she just gives 1 small comment every 10 minutes.

Completely useless why tf do people do this. It's not even endurable because it's embarassing and half the time we just don't say anything to each other for 5 minutes straight.

I think she's as clueless as me tbh, probably was searching for ways to make money and came across therapy thought "hey this is an online job" and went to college for 5 months or something for a degree

Don't ever get therapy it's useless you would literally be 100x better off talking to your friend or brother

She actually refered me to a psychiatrist to check out medication for my case. (she's a therapist specifically not a psychiatrist). I thought they would be shit but i always spy on my family's internet history and apparently most of them are cortisol suppresants like Tongat Ali, tbh these are not bad. But i dont get why i need a psychiatrist for them since Tongat doesn't require prescription I believe.

And i didn't get forced i just got "strongly recommended" by the dean and i thought it wasn't gonna be so bad
