I can explain. The voice is more than just the vocal cords. Length of neck and diameter of larynx all affect voice. You can only alter the pitch so much by thickening the vocal cords and you will never be able to change the underlying tone of the voice without actually reconstructing your neck, chest and larynx. You can actually make your voice change a bit by rearranging the teeth and jaw since they play a minor role as cut off filters which can cause certain frequencies to be absorbed before leaving the mouth. It's pretty much all genetics and is why some kids have deep voices even before puberty. Afaik you can only voicemaxx to reach your full genetic potential but you cannot cheat your genetics. Maybe someday there will be a throat implant surgery, but until then it's over for voicecels.

They can thicken their vocal chords but at some point thickening vocal chords doesn't make a difference and there is a limit to how thick they can get. Most men are already near the limit whereas woman are probably only 70% of the way there.
