There is absolutely no reason to have beard on your neck

Why would you not laser that shit?

If you're a broke ass nigga I get it, you can't afford it, but otherwise why the hell would you keep it?

• It merges with the facial beard killing the mandibular line (Unless you have really prominent mandible, then it doesn't matter, but still YOU WILL LOOK WORSE.
• It's a pain in the ass to shave. If you shave regularly you're almost guaranteed to get bumps there overtime.
• Even if you shave it as closely as you can, you will have a beard shadow on the neck.
• Overall, it fucks with your angularity.

Now, if you do get rid of it, as well as lasering the top line of the beard to stop the tiny hairs growing on the zygo area you will have two states of being, either clean shaven or having an always perfectly lined up beard.

Honestly if it wasn't for the fact that it's permanent, laser would be worthwhile for the whole face as well, but that's up to the individual. If you have no bones you will look like a blobfish and if you have them you still might look too neotenous.

I'd only recommend having a beard if your jaw/chin is weak/non existent. Apart from that it's better to be clean shaved.
