at least not in Favelazil(things are probably different in Murica since your grades are important for college blablabla)

all high IQ nerds of my school time still didnt have any outstanding achievement, nothing really impressive, the ones who are doing better are completely random guys jfl, it seems like both the nerds and chads turned out to be average or below average while the normal random guys were the ones who really became adult moggers. I guess there are many important things apart from looks and IQ, such as emotional stability, networking, good family support, good friends and who knows what more.

Of course thats only my personal experience, im sure there is indeed some correlation between grades and success at life but I believe its actually way less than what is commonly expected.

Standardized tests and IQ are more important than school grades. Because those actually measure intelligence.
But this in turn correlates with school grades, so it likely has some effect.

Huge cope. It has huge significance which uni you'll go to, what you'll study or if you can get in at all. I'll almost guarantee, you won't find billionaire's daughter like meeks to betabux you.

source?

would expect grades to be a better predictor of success because they are also a measure of conscientiousness

It's from Strenze's review of longitudinal studies that compared how various life factors correlated with education level, income and occupation. The average sample size for each group is 97,083.

Conscientiousness also predicts academic performance, but it's not as good as cognitive ability.

College is worth nothing in Brazil, apart from medicine.
Most of these nerds will either become uber or a slave to the private sector earning 2k.

I would say there is a correlation. A massive negative one.

The better you do in school, the more likely you end up as a failed incel loser in some above-average paying wageslave job

To be honest it varies a lot
In public school probably it doesn't matter but in private schools it matters

I studied in middle class private schools and its mostly like that, the nerds dont seem to be doing much better at least by now, maybe it will change in their 30's etc

you're right

I looked into it and it is weak to moderate

but still non-zero

being nerd isn't even close to high iq

i used to talk to them and most of them were just tryhard soyboys, they didn't demonstrate any outstanding ability (be it mathematical or artistic), ,the will of genius' they simply don't have it

they are the type of person to pay courses to learn foreign language while legit high iqs are learning on their own
