I have narrow mandible and crowding teeth. Still no ortho or surgeon knows about mandibular expansion. All they can offer me is braces/invisalign.

doesn't get taught in german universities anymore. Their paradigm says extractions and braces are their magic cure for crowded teeth.
Look into a modern univsersity text-book, you won't find msdo in it.
