What’s the point of spending big money to live in NY, LA, Chicago, Vegas, Miami, etc? Might as well live in a random town in middle America and save money

Have you never noticed that people that grew up in small towns or even more rural villages always have or had a partners. My country is way less developed than the US and even a big part of Europe, I see ugly dudes that come from those small places with girlfriends.
