Know that sounds odd considering that whites got the sjw progressive ball rolling, but it's not when you consider that sjw progressives aren't even really leftist at all.
90% of white "leftists" are actually just neo-liberal capitalists who use identity politics to distract minorities & women away from the fact that they are actually mostly pro-capitalism. They are overwhelmingly in favor of right-wing economic policies such as free trade, open borders, globalism etc. The only "left-wing" element of their ideologies are bullshit social politics. They are not interested in abolishing private ownership of industry or nationalizing resources. Nor are they against third world exploitation. In fact, they even use "leftist" identity politics to argue AGAINST leftist economic policies. "Oh protectionism is racism because it implies you hate foreign culture blah blah blah". Basically they have taken social politics and weaponized them against leftist economic doctrine. All the while pretending to be leftist themselves.
Fact of the matter is that with the exception of maybe a small minority there isn't any such thing as a white leftist. The majority of white people (not all of them, but still the majority) belong to the wealthier social classes of the planet and thus will never actually support any true leftist doctrine. There is of course the white working class, but they lean nationalist/populist rather than leftist. So called white progressives are just using identity politics as a smoke screen to mask the fact that they themselves belong to the power structure and that they have no interest in changing it. "White leftist" is oxymoron.
