I did 2 sets to failure and i was about to faint.


Even staying still doesn't work as it hurts like hell.

It DID NOT HAPPENWITH DUBEL ORESS

also my traps/chest/delts/tris hurt like nothin ive ever experienced

Help...

they aren't, the issue with push ups is that they're difficult to overload unless you do reps endlessly.

I suppose it depends how much u weigh

If Timothy who weighs 90 pounds does 30 pushups he likely won't yield much

But if Matthew who weighs 300 pounds does 30 pushups he is likely to yield much and be a strong dude

That's speculative tho

Push ups are equivalent to about 60-70% of your body weight barbell bench press so in high reps they are quite effective.

they aren't, the issue with push ups is that they're difficult to overload unless you do reps endlessly.

Archer push ups (approx 100%) and then one-arm push ups (approx 140%) are the overload options but they are technically challenging/annoying.

Bulking also automatically adds some weight.

You can do planche push-ups and then planche push-ups to press handstands

Might be getting more into arm and shoulder dominant moves than trying to focus on chest, by that point. Waaaaay beyond me anyway, I can’t even do 1-arm push ups.
