Not sure how it is now, but 9gag was an actual toxic place back in 2011-2013, never seen so much toxicity and hate, it was full of lonely bitter german and curry engineers coping with the trollface era memes, emma watson, dumb fucking jokes and stupid memes, and hating on muslims all the time. It wasn't even entertaining, just extremely bitter
