I looked into teaching overseas and they said only people from counties like Canada, the UK, the US, NZ, Australia and South Africa could apply as these were considered native speakers. Discrimination exists in East Asia because even non-UK Europeans with bad accents could still apply because they look as if they’re supposed to be native speakers.

I would suggest testing with 23andMe, instead of AncestryDNA and MyHeritage. LivingDNA is also a good option where you get deeper subclades for your haplogroups. But 23andMe is more accurate with ethnic guesses and regions, but you get basic haplogroups.
