Not necessarily disagreeing with you but you picked a very, very, very specific example. Most super heroes in comic books do have huge chins. But most men in manga/anime DO NOT HAVE LOW PFH LIKE THAT. Eyes drawn like those you posted are exceptions.

Most men in anime/manga don't have PFH that low. And the men in romantic Shojo manga that's catered towards girls DEFINITELY TEND TO HAVE GIGANTIC ORBITALS :lul:

Masculine manga/anime eyes can be low PFH but they are not drawn in the same way usually. Notably the canthal tilt is more neutral and the eyebrows more low set, and PFL isn't as high as kitsune eyes :

Maybe, but my point is that anime/manga does not prove your point, most men in anime do not have Kitsune eyes, and Kitsune eyes are typically for tricksters like Hisoka, rather than "masculine" characters. But yeah I generally agree that those eyes look intimidating and low trust.

It has zero appeal to women. Full hooding is super autistic and intimidating to women. Women like men who carry "emotion" behind their eyes. That's usually why it is attractive. Someone like Chico or Leo would be the perfect eyes in terms of aesthetics because they carry vulnerability while still being imposing and domineering enough as not to look cucked.

This is one of the main reasons why De Poot looks like an angry school shooter and has never been garnered much attention with women
