Now ik im newgen blah blah blah I joined right before the big spike in users and I think ive made a few contributions and connections here you might know me for my low effort calorie threads but I do actuslly make some high effort ones it just that they usually dont get replied to so no bump
But this isnt about me its about org
Theres a leak its getting bigger and bigger and stuff is trying to fix it with dumping more water in let me explain
Org is like a big bucket or water and the users are like droplets some users have been here for years, reply to threads, all that, they are big droplets. Lately lots of big droplet have been falling out making other good users leave (or get banned sometimes)
Mods know this they see this so they dump water in the bucket (new users) the thing is these new users arent helpful, never reply allat. I was a new user not thst long ago but I always replied still I reply to alot of threads idc about reps or anything but they spam threads about base level shit and bury high effort threads asking advice (like the ones I make sometimes ) or good guides (liek mine) im only using my threads as a example cuz I obv observe the interaction with them I have shitty formatting but I digress
I barley get any interaction unless I tag users alot and im only gonna tage users I know and greycel usually wont be much help or just dnr
Anyways the big droplets or maybe big community members are more like the bucket itself the more that leave the bigger this leak gets
The consequences are
Low replies
More argument
Higher chance of seeing irl
More threads to bury yours
More dumbasses
Obv I contribute to this somewhat but there is rly mfer who dont reply or post at all and then theres mfer who just dont reply or give vague basic questions
Idk im rambling but I can see myself losing the want to go in here which is a good thing but lifetime rotters strap in its will ONLY get worse bp isnt a trend I see completely dying its only getting bigger and bigger so far and it will soon get to the point where its everyday convo for everyone (already is for my friends) ive been thinking of leaving in fesr of getting found alos theres like 200k ppl tryna get in rn thst number only grows by the day esp with clav and all the other bo creator going mainstrsma
